ANWI Arts Incubator

is a transatlantic artist collective based in London and New York City. Founded in May 2020 by a group of queer writers and directors looking to create a safe and structured environment for creativity during the pandemic, ANWI grows projects at their initial conception phase and supports them throughout their development.

Recent work developed through ANWI’s weekly meetings include publications with Meiji Jingu's Intercultural Research Institute and the Langford Wilson New Play Festival, an award-winning environmental film screened at the Oxford Museum of Natural History, three Theater503 Playwriting Award nominated plays, and a commission with Tony Award-nominated and Obie Award-winning theater company Clubbed Thumb.
